Bird Whittler watch.
Over the past few days I have had the pleasure of spending time looking around a private wood in the Kent countryside.
The wood has become overgrown and very dense plant and wildlife have taken over and made it their own. It was lovely to see nature at its best! So what has this got to do with Glyn the bird whittler's website Well, on many occasions I am asked what inspires me to whittle birds. The answer is. As I travel around looking at birds and wildlife on the canals woods and reserves in the UK, I am inspired by this. I never set out looking for the next project but always come back with many ideas. I can imagine how the work will turn out but until I draw, cut, and whittle the wood there is no guarantee of success. So to help you see the process before your eyes I will take you throughthe stages of how a bird whittling project starts out and hopefully we will end with a finished item.
Come and join me at the start.
